As any pet owner knows, puppies have special needs, and our puppy pet sitting services are tailored to meet those needs. The first year can present challenges when you are away from home. Most experts recommend crate training as the preferred method to house train your puppy, but not for more than 4 to 5 hours at a time. This can present difficulties for working puppy owners. For over 12 years, Doggie Latchkey has provided our valued clients with a standard puppy care package that emphasizes housebreaking and crate training so your puppy is comfortable during the day until you are home. Your puppy will be taken outdoors immediately and given lots of praise and encouragement. Basic commands that you’ve been working on are also positively reinforced.

After we have your specific dates and times in our system, it’s time to set up your meet & greet with your Doggie Latchkey fully insured and bonded professional pet sitter. We can meet in your home, or provide you with a virtual meet and greet should you prefer

Will we sleep with your pet?

Absolutely, if you’d like. We’ll stay in any area of your home that you designate. It’s important that we follow your pet’s routine.
Only the assigned sitter is permitted to be in your home. Doggie Latchkey has a strict policy in place as well as a sitter code of conduct; all of its sitters are aware of and committed to this policy.
The preferred method is via a coded lockbox or garage door code. There should always be a back-up means of entry. This information should always be kept up to date in your client portal.
We always suggest updating any change in your client portal first. After you’ve completed this step feel free to reach out to us by email to confirm that we have your new requests.
Again, use your client portal to request cancellation. This is the only way for us to process any refund or credit for future services per Doggie Latchkey’s Cancellation Policy.
