Doggie Latchkey Vacation Pet Sitting FAQ’s

Will we sleep with your pet?

Unlike most companies that stay for 10 hours max, Doggie Latchkey’s overnight stays are for any 12 hour period of your choosing.

Who will be in my home?

Absolutely, if you’d like. We’ll stay in any area of your home that you designate. It’s important that we follow your pet’s routine.

How will the sitter access my home?

Only the assigned sitter is permitted to be in your home. Doggie Latchkey has a strict policy in place as well as a sitter code of conduct; all of its sitters are aware of and committed to this policy.

What if I have to extend my stay?

The preferred method is via a coded lockbox or garage door code. There should always be a back-up means of entry. This information should always be kept up to date in your client portal.

What if I need to cancel my overnight services?

We always suggest updating this change in your client portal first. After you’ve completed this step feel free to reach out to us by email to confirm that we have your new return date and time.
